Vancouver Whitecaps head coach Jesper Sorensen confirmed after a rainy training session Friday that new signing Thomas Müller will be involved in the match day squad on Sunday when the Whitecaps host the Houston Dynamo at B.C. Place Stadium.

How much he’ll play remains a question, Sorensen admitted, but rest assured the German superstar will play.

In other words, the nearly 30,000 fans who will be in attendance at B.C. Place on Sunday won’t be disappointed. Their new hero will be there too.

Friday afternoon, the Whitecaps announced that the full inventory of tickets they’d made available had been sold out. That means the whole lower bowl.
