EUGENE, Ore- Heading into Thursday's regular season opener, Oregon soccer echoed a single message inside the walls of Pap é Field and to the entire Eugene community.

That this season would be different. Since the inception of the program, Oregon soccer has struggled to find winning seasons and give its fans to be optimistic for the future. But on Thursday, a new chapter appears to have been turned.

With fans lined across the seats of Papé Field Oregon Soccer would put on a show, knocking in four goals in the teams 4-0 shutout win over Weber State. The four goals scored were the most by the team since a 4-2 over Northern Arizona on August 29th, 2021.
