BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Good news for the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society, as they are now out of a Code Red, and that’s thanks to the community.
In four days, 82 animals found their forever homes through adoption, while the Rescue and Transport Program moved an additional 156 animals to areas where they can find their own families.
In the video above, you can see pictures of just some of the families that adopted fur-ever friends during that period.
But the shelter says the work is just beginning as the return of the Adopt-a-thon is coming up.
