FLINT, MI- Hundreds gathered in downtown Flint to boogie to music and celebrate their love of cars for Back to the Bricks Cruise “n” Concert.

The Aug. 15 event featured numerous product and food vendors, cars lining Saginaw Street and live music performances by The Regulators and Packin Heat.

Don Scharich, who brought his 63’ Corvair 700, was happy to discuss his own vehicle with neighbors and fellow car enthusiasts.

“Year after year, it’s always something different,” Scharich said. “The people, the cars. I don’t know which is cooler. There’s something here for everybody.”

Back to the Bricks Chairman of Volunteers Keith Damon echoed Scharich’s comments.

“I like seeing the people; new people I haven’t met, seeing new cars I haven’t seen before.” he said.
