ASHTABULA TOWNSHIP — Students of the Buckeye Local Schools were given an early welcome to the fall semester Friday afternoon during the Back-to-School Celebration.

Almost forty area groups were represented at the event, which took place at Corlew Stadium. The stadium gates opened at 3 p.m., and groups and businesses were already setting up tables.
