Distress: Lake Road

On July 24, a resident reported that a man on a bicycle seemed to be in distress.

Officers responded to the area and found the man, who was upset because he had lost his wallet while on his bike ride across the country.

While police were speaking with the upset bicyclist, another group of bicyclists flagged down the officers to turn in a wallet they had found.

The man was reunited with his wallet and continued on his journey.

Concealed weapon: Dover Center Road

On July 21, officers initiated a traffic stop near the railroad tracks. The registered owner of the car was showing a suspended license.

During the investigation, a handgun with an extended magazine was found under the driver’s seat. The handgun was listed by the Cleveland Police Departm
