MINERAL WELLS — The greens at Woodridge Golf Club were hosts to all manner of Knights, Patriots, Mohigans and more on Friday, with eight high school women’s golf teams taking to the links for a hike around the Par 73 course.

Morgantown, Brooke, Parkersburg South, Weir, Tyler, Wheeling Central, Parkersburg and Barnesville all were in the mix Friday.

Of the four teams that finished with enough players to put together a team score, Morgantown finished first with a total of 253, Brooke finished in second at 344, Parkersburg South finished in third at 371, and Weir in fourth at 373.

Morgantown was led by Angela Yao, medalist on the day with a 71, including an impressive five birdies.

Brooke’s top golfer was Elliot McDonald, who carded a 102.
