Regarding the Aug. 1 Bangor Daily News editorial , it’s true President Donald Trump’s executive order does not address the “mental health” crisis in the U.S. It certainly is cruel and shortsighted, and may cost billions more. And, it will likely end the personal freedom of millions of Americans who don’t need to be in institutions.
