Union rejects government request to consider Air Canada's binding arbitration offer

The Air Canada component of CUPE has rejected the federal government’s request to consider the airline’s offer of binding arbitration, leaving travellers close to a looming shutdown. Laurie Panagiotou, an Air Canada customer who had been planning for a family vacation for more than a year, tells CBC News she’s ‘almost bursting into tears,' but still supports the flight attendants.
