On May 10, the Libertytown-Unionville Lions Club joined 14 other Frederick-area Lions clubs and five nonprofit partners at the Urbana Library for the first Lions Club International District-22W Carnival. The carnival’s purpose was to raise awareness of what Lions do, build community relationships, and support membership growth in Frederick County.

The event welcomed over 55 community members, including 35 children, and four possible new members.
