Cowichan Valley lacrosse product Addison Urquhart has committed to American International College Yellow Jackets on an NCAA Div. II scholarship. He will also continue his studies at the school in Springfield, Massachusetts.

“Honestly, getting an NCAA scholarship is a dream. I don’t know if it’s sunken in yet," Urquhart said. "I have been really fortunate to have awesome coaches and teammates along the way. I’m just really thankful for all of the support, especially from Coach Bill and Coach Chris who just let me go out there and do my thing. I’m ready to head to AIC and get to work.”

Urquhart just wrapped up his junior B season with the Cowichan Thunder.

In February, Urquhart and the Canadian Lacrosse League's U20 Canadian development team went undefeated to retain their IIJL Commonweal
