EXCLUSIVE: Screen can reveal the first trailer for ‘Fantasy’, the debut feature of Slovenian filmmaker Kukla.

The film tells the story of three tomboy best friends in Slovenia whose world is turned upside down when they meet a transgender woman named Fantasy.

It had its world premiere at Locarno Film Festival in August 2025, before playing at Sarajevo Film Festival in the Feature Film competition on Sunday, August 17.

Vlado Bulajic and Lija Pogacnik produce for North Macedonia’s Krug Film and Slovenia’s December. Totem Films handles international sales on the title.

Sarajevo Film Festival 2025 runs from August 15-22.
