Bears at Whipsnade Zoo in Bedfordshire, U.K., have enjoyed swimming with and eating lumps of ice to help keep cool in recent hot weather.

Visitors enjoyed watching the bears' curiosity as they were given the icy treats, made with their favourite flavours - honey, fish and blood.

Last week saw the U.K.'s fourth heatwave of the year drive temperatures up to some 33 degrees Celsius (90 degrees Farenheit).

U.K. Met Office data says 2025 has experienced the driest six months to July since 1976.
