Hawaii is part of a proposed missile defense network, called the Golden Dome , which automatically makes the islands a strategic target for the nation’s enemies. If the system is installed, we would act as a national defense curtain for the mainland’s West Coast.

Considering Hawaii stands alone in the Pacific, the U.S. government should contribute at least $2 billion annually to sustain and protect us.
