It's going to be a hot and muggy Saturday in Charlotte. Morning temperatures will start in the 70s but dew points in the 70s will make for a humid day. Afternoon temperatures will be in the 90s but the heat index will feel in the upper 90s and close to 100 degrees across North Carolina and South Carolina. The good news? Temperatures will dip a little next week in Charlotte, plus there's an oncoming threat of rain toward the middle of next week.
