Three teenagers who escaped Friday from the Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland were back in custody Friday night after being found in Saco.
The two 17-year-olds and one 14-year-old left the correctional facility around 12:37 p.m., according to Maine Department of Corrections spokesperson Anthony Cantillo.
At 9:20 p.m., Saco police spotted a vehicle on I-195 that matched the description of the one the teens were traveling in, police said in a release. Officers followed the vehicle as it left the interstate and pulled into a business on Main Street.
