Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty (2) during training camp press conference at the Intermountain Healthcare Performance Center.

Ashton Jeanty's much-anticipated preseason debut didn't live up to the hype.

However, he's back at it again in Week 2 of the preseason as the Las Vegas Raiders ramp up for the regular season. Vegas will be giving its starters some valuable reps against the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday afternoon, with head coach Pete Carroll looking to see what his team can do.

Jeanty's initial work was far from memorable, as he finished with three carries and negative-one yard in the box score.

After playing two series, the rookie out of Boise State will try to change his fortunes and give fans a glimpse at what they can expect starting in September.

Here's a look at the Raiders' plans for Jeanty in Week 2 of the preseason.

Jeanty will play against the 49ers in Week 2 of the preseason.

Carroll told reporters earlier in the week that the starters will suit up for Saturday's game, saying "Everybody's live."

It's unclear whether Jeanty and the Raiders starters will last longer in this matchup, but the running back will certainly look for a better number in the box score this time around.
