On the lower Columbia River from Rocky Point/Tongue Point line upstream to Bonneville Dam there were 210 salmonid boats and 135 Washington bank rods were tallied on the flight count Tuesday, Aug. 12.

Salmon/Steelhead

Section 1 (Bonneville) — 41 bank anglers kept two steelhead and released 12 steelhead. Six boats/10 rods had no catch.

Section 2 (Camas/Washougal) — Two bank anglers had no catch. Two boats/two rods had no catch.

Section 3 (I-5 Area) — 20 bank anglers kept two steelhead. Two boats/four rods had no catch.

Section 4 (Vancouver) — Eight bank anglers released one steelhead. Five boats/11 rods kept one steelhead.

Section 5 (Woodland) — 25 bank anglers kept one steelhead and released one coho. 21 boats/49 rods kept six Chinook and two steelhead.
