Good morning, baseball fans!

Another week of San Francisco Giants baseball is coming to a close this weekend, which means it’s time to take a look back at the week that was and decide who we think was the Player of the Week.

The pickings were slim this week, with the team having lost every single game thus far (as of the time this is being written). But the week wasn’t without its highlights. And this week, Rafael Devers provided the majority of those with his two home runs. The first was in Saturday’s loss to the Washington Nationals, and the second was in Monday’s loss to the San Diego Padres.

It always sucks when the team loses a bunch of games during a homestand, but at least Devers gave the home crowd a little something to cheer for to break up the monotony.
