After missing the entire spring football period while healing from turf toe surgery, Auburn football transfer running back Durell Robinson is feeling better than ever.
Robinson started his career at Charlotte before transferring to UConn for the 2024 season. He rushed for 731 yards and eight touchdowns last year, helping lead the Huskies to an 8-4 record.
“Oh, actually, I haven’t felt this healthy since my junior year of high school. And I had a crazy year that year, so that just shows how I’m feeling right now,” Robinson said.
During Robinson’s recovery, Damari Alston, Jeremiah Cobb and Alvin Henderson were the backs getting the majority of the reps during the spring.
Robinson said he was able to use that time to learn from the other guys in that room to stay prepared for fall camp.
