New Orleans police investigated a homicide in St. Claude Saturday morning.

Police responded to a report of a "man down" at around 8 a.m. in the 1200 block of Lesseps Street.

New Orleans EMS confirmed the man was dead and launched a homicide investigation, NOPD said.

No further information was immediately available.
