CLEVELAND (WJW) -- Browns rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel will get the start Saturday afternoon when Cleveland faces the Philadelphia Eagles in their second preseason game.

"Dillon Gabriel is expected to start today vs. the Eagles," the Browns posted on X Saturday morning.

Gabriel has been recovering from a strained hamstring.

The team announced that quarterbacks Shedeur Sanders, Joe Flacco, and Kenny Pickett are not expected to play.

Sanders, who started at quarterback in the Browns' first preseason game against the Panthers, suffered an oblique injury early in practice Wednesday.

The Browns have six quarterbacks on their roster including Sanders, Gabriel, Flacco, Pickett, Tyler Huntley and Deshaun Watson.

Game time is set for 1 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field.
