OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - An Oconee County man died Friday evening from injuries he sustained in a wreck on Tuesday.

According to Oconee County Coroner's Office, James M. Adams, 69, died Friday at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

The coroner's office said Adams was riding a bicycle on S.C. Highway 182 near East Spearman Road in Westminster when he was involved in a wreck with a motor vehicle. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and was transported to the hospital from the scene.

His death has been classified as an accident.
