A Pontchatoula man was arrested on 60 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles under age 13, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office said Saturday morning.

Arthur Palmisano, 73 was booked into Tangipahoa Parish Jail on Monday, jail records show, and remained in custody Saturday morning. His bond information was not available.

TPSO's Internet Crimes Against Children unit received notice last week that someone had uploaded child pornography to a search engine in an attempt to find similar images online.

Detectives pinned the activity to a Pontchatoula address, where they served a search warrant and allegedly found dozens of images depicting child sexual assault on Palmisano's devices. He was arrested.
