COLUMBIA, Mo. — There's no punting battle during this fall camp, but Missouri still has a unique situation at that specialist role.

Luke Bauer's tenure as the Tigers' punter is over, and Stanford transfer Connor Weselman arrived over the off season to take over.

Coaches have been happy with what they've seen from Weselman's leg during both spring and fall practices, which is important. The last time Weselman punted in a game was Oct. 28, 2023.

He's a graduate student who has appeared in 25 games, but rarely as the actual punter.

Weselman racked up 22 punts across an eight-game stretch as the Cardinal's primary punter, but after a 14-yard punt during Week 8 of the 2023 season, his role changed.
