EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley gave ValleySportsCentral a first look at the newly improved Robert and Janet Vackar Stadium.

The UTRGV Athletics Department is gearing up for its first college football season at the stadium located east of the university.

According to the university website, the field has been lowered to improve sight lines for those who the 39 existing field level suites and patios.
