HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - A Hampton man was convicted Friday of transporting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) after Google sent a CyberTipLine report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), according to the United States Attorney.
Ryan Matthew Bieber, 31, was uploading CSAM of adults engaged in sexually explicit conduct with children between August 2020 through November 2021.
Bieber's Google account was immediately deactivated following the report. He faces a minimum of five years and up to 20 years in prison.
Bieber is set to appear in court for sentencing Dec. 18.
