Trespassing, disorderly conduct: Lorain Road

A homeowner at 2:32 a.m. on Aug. 1 called the police department to report that someone was entering his minivan parked outside.

The man explained that he had been hearing someone talking for about an hour outside his home. When he saw a woman entering his unlocked vehicle, he called the police.

When officers approached the woman, they told her to exit the vehicle. She slurred her speech and smelled of alcohol, according to a police report. She told officers that she lived at the home. When officers asked her address, she gave an address that was “nowhere near” the victim’s home.
