LIVINGSTON, Texas (KTRE) - Police are asking the public to send in information on a Livingston man they say has shown a pattern of behavior impersonating officers. He is in custody, but detectives are now looking for additional information and witnesses.
William-Charles Davis Caruthers, 38, has been arrested after police say he chased a motorcycle in Livingston with emergency lights flashing on his vehicle. The incident took place in July, and he was arrested several days later in Montgomery County.
Police said he was impersonating an officer at the scene of a crash he had been involved in when he was arrested. The booking record shows he was taken into custoday in Spring near the intersection of I-45 and Rayford Road.
