HOLYOKE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Holyoke Veteran Services held a grave restoration event today at the Calvary Cemetery. The footage you can see in the video is from the last time volunteers got together to help preserve and restore veteran markers.

We caught up with the Holyoke Veterans Graves Director, Wayne Klinge, at the last restoration event and he explained why it is important to help preserve these markers for future generations, “The cemeteries are our history of our people.
