Lenoir-Rhyne football newcomers L.J. Turner and Desmond Greene were named to the D2Football Elite 100 Watch List.

The list was selected by the staff of D2Football.com with the input of head coaches and a professional football scout. The listed is made up of 100 of the top players to watch nationally in NCAA Division II football.

Turner, a transfer running back from Catawba College, was electric last season. He was named to the AFCA All-American second team and was a first-team all-super region and all-South Atlantic Conference honoree. Turner broke Catawba's single season rushing record in just eight games and led the conference with 14 touchdowns.

Greene, a defensive back from Crawfordville, Florida, came to the Bears following a season with Southwestern Oklahoma State. H
