PISCATAWAY – It’s on to Ohio for Rutgers football .

The Scarlet Knights played their second and final scrimmage of training camp Saturday inside SHI Stadium, one day before Greg Schiano’s team officially breaks camp and begins turning its full attention to the Aug. 28 season opener.

“There are some position battles for backup spots, there are some position battles for starter spots,” Schiano said. “This tape we’ll watch closely again, as we did last week.”

Schiano and his coaching staff need to finalize the depth chart in the coming days, with some positions far more clear than others.
