A knife-wielding thief is on the loose after slashing a straphanger on board a Bronx subway early Saturday, cops said.

The violent episode occurred on a northbound D train as it pulled into the Kingsbridge Road station just after 4 a.m., police said.

The menace, who had just boarded the train at an earlier stop, approached his first victim – a 37-year-old man – asking for money, cops said. 3

When the straphanger refused to hand over cash, the perp pulled out a knife, and demanded his cell phone – which the vic handed over, police said.

The sicko moved onto his second victim – who also happened to be a 37-year-old man – and again asked for cash. But when that man refused, the perp wielded the knife, slashing him on the right side of the face, cops said.
