The Intermountain Conference has been Mountain View’s domain the past two seasons.

However, graduation took a toll on the two-time conference champion, while their nearest challengers — crosstown rivals Bend and Summit — return their starting quarterbacks and have several key skill players back to aid their bids to grab the title.
