One week after seeing Ja’Lynn Polk go down with an apparent arm or shoulder injury, the team lost another wideout on Saturday versus the Minnesota Vikings. Third-round draft pick Kyle Williams got banged up on a reception in the second quarter, and did not return after leaving the game.
Williams’ injury happened with five minutes left in the first half. Running an in-breaking route on a 3rd-and-4, he reached above his head to reel in backup quarterback Joshua Dobbs’ pass. After the catch, however, the rookie absorbed a hard hit to the head and was slow to get up.
