There wasn’t a whole lot to get excited about in the Eagles’ 22-13 loss to the Browns Saturday afternoon at the Linc in their second of three preseason games. Especially on offense.

But on a day where the offense managed just 88 net yards, eight first downs and an unheard-of 2.2 yards per offensive play, keep reminding yourself, the starters didn’t play, the Eagles don’t gameplan for these game and the real work was done in the two joint practices on Tuesday and Wednesday.

But this was bad, even for a preseason game.
