The Colts welcomed the Green Bay Packers to Lucas Oil Stadium Saturday for their second preseason game of 2025, putting up one touchdown and four field goals in a 23-19 loss.
In accordance with the plan laid out by head coach Shane Steichen earlier in the week, Daniel Jones started the game and played for two drives (which ended up being the entire first quarter) before Anthony Richardson Sr. came in to play the rest of the first half (three drives).
The Colts' offensive starters played in the first quarter – once again aligning with Steichen's plan entering the game – but were without notable players in wide receivers Josh Downs and Alec Pierce as they recover from their respective injuries sustained during training camp.
