JEFFERSON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - Just in time during hurricane season, Jefferson County Emergency Management held a disaster expo Saturday.
The Florida Department of Emergency Management, Monticello Fire Department, the American Red Cross and other organizations attended the event.
The event began at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the first one hundred people receiving a disaster bucket that included essential supplies.
All attendees still benefited as everyone in the audience obtained emergency rations, water, Kleenex, hand sanitizer and other essentials.
