Manitou Springs police are looking for two "persons of interest" after a staff member of the Pikes Peak Cog Railway was assaulted in a parking lot Saturday afternoon.

The assault reportedly happened around 12:15 p.m. in the parking lot located at 515 Ruxton Ave., according to a news release. The extent of the employee's injuries is unknown, but first responders had to render aid.

"(Manitou Springs Police Department) is requesting that anyone who witnessed the incident, who may have information, or who may have video footage, contact El Paso County dispatch at 719-390-5555," the news release states.
