LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) - After a mostly dry and hot Saturday, quiet conditions return overnight to Acadiana. Temperatures will settle in the 70s with mostly clear skies and high humidity. Sunday starts out with sticky air and sunshine. Temperatures rise fast, reaching 90 degrees by lunchtime, and the mid 90s during the afternoon hours. Scattered storms will develop to bring cooling relief to the area during the afternoon and evening.
