Wilsonville didn’t win the district title last season but captured the prize it wanted most, beating Mountain View in the 5A state final for the second consecutive season.

The Wildcats are one of the few remaining teams in the district this season, joined by returning members Canby and McKay and newcomers Aloha, Forest Grove and Hillsboro from the Northwest Oregon Conference and McNary, which dropped from 6A following three straight winless seasons.
