PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Nick Herbig suffered a hamstring injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will not return.
It is unknown when the injury happened, but Herbig had two pressures in short order to start the game before exiting with the injury. He had a hamstring injury last year that forced him to miss four games.
Yet, in 13 games, he still set a career-high 5.5 sacks, adding four forced fumbles. He often credits some of the tricks that he has learned from T.J. Watt over their time training together. In July, J.J. Watt called Herbig ‘underrated.’
