Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston left the preseason game against the host Los Angeles Rams on a medical cart after taking a big hit on the third play from scrimmage on Saturday in Inglewood, Calif.
Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh said after the team's 23-22 preseason loss that Johnston sustained a concussion.
"Quentin suffered a concussion, and that's never a good thing," Harbaugh said. "But the way it looked there at the time, looked like it could have a been a lot worse. And he was taken (to a hospital) for more evaluation, but he was talking. He remembered the play. He was moving good. So in that way, it's a good thing."
