S. WILLIAMSPORT, PA -- A Brewer baseball player is being honored this weekend at the Little League World Series in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
12-year-old Dorian Pillsbury, who is known as D-Max to his friends and family, is one of five individuals being recognized as a community hero by the Little League World Series.
D-Max has done numerous fundraisers over the years to help pay for snacks for the Brewer schools.
He has also done a birthday cake fundraiser to collect cake mixes and ingredients so that those who can't afford a birthday cake won't have to go without.
He wrote a book about it called D-Max's birthday wish.
And he made sure to bring several copies of the book with him to the Little League World Series.
