The New York Giants beat the New York Jets 31-12 in the second preseason game, going 2-0 in the preseason.

The Giants are beginning to find their rhythm as the preseason winds down, and Saturday night at MetLife Stadium was a clear step forward. Behind an early touchdown run from Devin Singletary and a third-quarter surge led by rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, the Giants built a 24-6 lead over the New York Jets heading into the fourth quarter.

Singletary opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 1-yard plunge set up by Russell Wilson’s trademark deep ball, an 80-yard connection to rookie Beaux Collins.

Devin Singletary followed the 80-yard strike up with a 1-yard run for the touchdown.
