OMAHA, Neb. —
A health fair offered vaccines and Medicaid assistance to those in need on Saturday.
The Charles Drew Health Clinic offered their services to patients as needed.
Back-to-school physicals and catching up on vaccines were the most requested.
Organizers said getting out and helping the community was the most important part.
"We had a very good outcome so far. We've seen about ten patients in the last couple hours. Our patients are very satisfied that we are out here and being involved in the community," said Katrina Chischilly.
Blood sugar and diabetes screenings were also available during the health fair.
