While it’s still just the preseason, Steelers rookie defensive lineman Derrick Harmon checked two firsts of his NFL bucket list in Saturday’s preseason loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers: his first home game as a Steeler, and his first NFL sack.

“It was beautiful, man. It was real beautiful,” he said of playing in front of a Steelers home crowd for the first time. “It kinda took me back to Oregon a little bit, with how loud they were out there. So it was beautiful to have all the fans be home finally.”

Harmon also provided one of the biggest highlights of the game: a first-quarter sack off a powerful bull rush.

“First sack as a rookie, man, it felt good,” he said following the game. “It’s the preseason, so just ready to get that one in the regular season. That’s it.”
