PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Gareth Warren has a head injury after diving for a fumble in the fourth quarter of the team’s second preseason game, head coach Mike Tomlin said.

The injury occurred after a fourth quarter interception when the defender fumbled the football and Warren attempted to dive on the ball, landing straight on his head. He stayed down on the ground for some time before getting up and heading into the blue medical tent for evaluation.

Warren is 328 pounds while running a 5.22 40-yard dash with a 1.81 10-yard split. Warren has 33 5/8-inch arms, giving him enough length to stay at offensive tackle if that is what the Steelers view him as heading into the offseason.
