PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers received a positive update on long snapper Christian Kuntz , head coach Mike Tomlin said.

“Christian Kuntz had a chest injury that’s being evaluated," Tomlin said. “I’m not gonna do hypotheticals on Christian. I think we got some good news there.”

Kuntz made a tackle on a punt return, laying out to make the play. After that, he came off the field grabbing his chest and was attended to by trainers. The Steelers took his shoulder pads and helmet and he went to the locker room.

It is unknown how serious Kuntz’s injury is, but he was the second Steelers player to leave the game and be ruled out. Outside linebacker Nick Herbig went down with an injury, too.
