OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - A synthetic drug more than 40 times stronger than Fentanyl is becoming a big problem in Oklahoma.

The drug is called Nitazenes. The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics says it can look like anything, but you will not know what it is until it's too late.

"We're very concerned about these new synthetic opioids that are showing up all the time, and Nitazenes is one of those," said Mark Woodward, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.

News 4 told you about this synthetic drug a few months ago when the wave began.

"There are different variations of Nitazenes. Just here in Oklahoma, we've already outlawed six different types of Nitazenes, but when we do, we always get either a lab report or an autopsy report that shows that there's a new variation or multiple new variations," said Woo
